HOME SWEET HOME
I love well-bred Labrador Retrievers!!
What could be better than hiking next to a creek and throwing in stick after stick for your Lab to retrieve? Or sitting next to a fireplace with a soundly sleeping (sometimes snoring)Lab curled up at your feet?
To me, that’s the good life!
We breed on a very small scale-usually 2-3 litters a year.
PLEASE NOTE- WE ARE CURRENTLY HAVING PHONE PROBLEMS. IF YOU HAVE LEFT A MESSAGE, PLEASE BE AWARE THAT OUR MACHINE HAS NOT BEEN RECORDING MESSAGES. IF POSSIBLE, PLEASE EMAIL.

My love affair with Labrador Retrievers began with my husband's black Lab, Caesar, whom he adopted while an officer in the Marine Corp. from a fellow Marine who was re-stationed and needed a home for his Lab. Caesar was faithful, loyal , and amazingly intelligent. He was a selfless and loyal Lab, and we miss him. After Caeser passed away, we waited for about 5 years before adding Lucy. She is a part of our family and she is my shadow all day, everyday, everywhere I go.
In 2006 we added Tula and O’Reilly, beautiful English Labs, to our family and they are two of the best Labs ever. Beautiful, smart, fun, gentle, etc. Tula is now retired, but we have recently added Ruby to our family. Currently, we breed 2 English females(Ruby and Piper) and one American female(Lucy). Our Lab's pedigree's includes Belquest, Rocheby, Beechcroft, Hyspire, Endless Mountain, Moonlit, Dickendalls, Gingergread, Sho-Me, Borador and more. We breed on a very small scale, so each of our adult Labs and every puppy that is whelped on our premises are recipients of much love, attention, and playtime.
We invite you to come and visit and meet our Labs. We live on the scenic Octorara Creek, in the beautiful countryside of Southern Lancaster County, with our three kids, Jo, Kristopher, and Harry. Life is good, and we are blessed.

I specialize in breeding yellow labradors with solid black pigmentation. While I love all shades of yellow, I personally love the very light (almost white) coat color against very dark pigmentation. But then again- a reddish-yellow coat looks so beautiful, too-especially on a Lab running through a field of green grass. I also am in love with black Labs, as I LOVE a shiny silky black coat. As any good breeder of yellow Labs will tell you, it is wise to bring black into a yellow line in order to maintain dark black noses/pads/eyes on a yellow Lab. All of my dogs are hip certified at 2 yrs of age, and have AKC pedigrees full of beautiful black and yellow labs. I breed for beautiful conformation, and for intelligent and friendly temperments. I also breed for optimum health, and I am quite confident in the genetic soundness of my lines. But most of all, I breed because having a Lab has added so much joy to my life, and I want to share that joy with other people.
